Back in the old days, the speaker beeped on, the Bluetooth connected, and the first riff of the agreed-upon playlist of the day heralded the start of our work-day mornings. That shared rhythm, that collective hum and optimistic “here we go” vibe as we launched into the day is unforgettable.
Not that we ever stopped the music, mind you. It just evolved, like we have.
A little bit pf time ago, I set off to create a new “Drass and Associates” soundtrack with “Road to Joy” paving the way, the determined adrenaline of “Break My Stride” breaking onto the chart, our appreciation of Mary’s brilliant organization skills and inspiration with her infectious laugh echoing in “Mary’s Place” added in quickly, and who can dismiss the epic life-reflecting odyssey that was the entire Peter Gabriel i/o album, “The Court” included to round off a booming start?
Upon further consideration, instead of starting a new playlist, we’re doing something grander. We’re weaving all those favorite tracks, the old and the new, into one magnificent Drass and Associates symphony. ✨ This isn’t just a playlist, it’s a living document of who we are, more than a decade of where we’ve been, and loads of inspiration for what’s to come.
